Errol Musk, the father of Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, is facing a storm of allegations after multiple family members accused him of sexually abusing children and stepchildren over the course of several decades. The claims, which span from the early 1990s through recent years, include disturbing accounts of inappropriate touching, abusive behavior and repeated incidents that were reported to both relatives and authorities.
The earliest accusations surfaced in the early 1990s, when a young stepdaughter alleged that Musk had touched her inappropriately. Over the years, additional troubling claims emerged, including a report from the same stepdaughter in the early 2000s, when she said she caught him engaging in inappropriate behavior with her belongings. More recently, a young son came forward with allegations that his father had touched him inappropriately, reigniting concerns within the family and prompting further investigation.
In total, five of Musk’s children and stepchildren are said to have made accusations against him. Family correspondence and interviews reportedly revealed a pattern of concern among relatives, with some urging Elon Musk himself to step in. Despite the seriousness of these claims, investigations have so far resulted in mixed outcomes.
Authorities opened three separate inquiries into the allegations, but at least two were closed without charges due to insufficient evidence. Another case remains unresolved, and in one instance, family members sought a protection order to limit Musk’s access to children.
Errol Musk has categorically denied all the allegations, dismissing them as fabricated and motivated by family disputes or financial gain. He has insisted that there is no evidence to support the claims and has accused some relatives of encouraging children to make false statements against him.
Elon has long described his relationship with Errol as strained and difficult, though he has not issued any public comment in response to the latest reports. While no convictions have been made against Errol Musk, the allegations continue to reverberate through both legal channels and the court of public opinion.
