Kenyans React as Cartoon Comedian's Ex Introduces New Girlfriend
Kenyans have shared mixed reactions online after Cartoon Comedian's ex-boyfriend, Rotimi of Africa, introduced his new girlfriend in a recent video.
According to reports, Rotimi posted an adorable clip of himself with his new partner, saying she gives him "peace of mind." In the same post, he added a statement that quickly caught attention: "If you can't change the girl, you must change the girl." The video, which has been widely shared online, shows the two appearing happy together.
The development comes months after Cartoon Comedian confirmed that she was single. In an earlier update, she shared a video saying she was "back on the streets" and focusing on raising her child. Official statements indicate that the couple had welcomed a baby together in December 2025 before later separating.
Rotimi had previously accused Kenyans of interfering in their relationship, saying they had decided to part ways and focus on co-parenting. He maintained that the decision was mutual and asked the public to respect their privacy.
Following the new video, reactions from Kenyans have been divided. Some social media users congratulated Rotimi and wished him well in his new relationship. Others, however, criticized his statement, arguing that it was insensitive given his past relationship with Cartoon.
A video circulating online shows many users debating whether his remarks were appropriate, with some defending his right to move on while others expressed support for Cartoon Comedian.
Neither Cartoon Comedian nor Rotimi has issued further official comments regarding the public reactions. However, the story continues to trend online, highlighting the strong interest Kenyans have in celebrity relationships and personal lives.
