Born, Emmanuel Mathias, MC Pilipili passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, November 16, 2025, Nairobi News has learnt.
Reliable reports from Tanzania intimate that MC Pilipili died enroute Dodoma where he was expected to perform his hosting duties later that evening.
According to medical reports from the chief medical officer of the Dodoma Regional Referral Hospital, Ernest Ibenzi, MC Pilipili arrived at the hospital already dead.
News of Pilipili's sudden death sent shockwave across Tanzania and neighbouring countries with fellow celebrities and his fans taking to different social media platforms to mourn him.
Quite a number of netizens who commented on Pilipili's death claimed he was never the same ever since getting married to his wife.
While many did not directly accuse the wife of playing a role in his death, some indicated his life took a downward spiral after his wedding.
