Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has dismissed growing speculation that her Instagram-perfect photos are taken by a secret boyfriend.
The rumours began after a curious fan questioned how Vera consistently shares flawless travel shots despite claiming to travel solo. The fan hinted that there might be a man behind the camera.
Vera responded on her Instagram stories on Saturday, October 4, 2025, clarifying that she is currently single.
"Nah, I don't have a boyfriend; I am single like a dollar bill," she wrote.
The mother of two explained that she uses a special gadget that allows her to take high-quality pictures on her own, especially during her frequent travels. "I bought a gadget that helps me take my shots without bothering strangers. People assume too much," she added.
This revelation comes months after Vera ended her relationship with singer Brown Mauzo, with whom she shares two children, Asia Brown and Ice Brown. The couple's split played out publicly earlier this year, sparking speculation about whether they would reconcile.
In a past Q&A session, Vera firmly ruled out the possibility of rekindling their romance.
"Oh babe, that would never happen. Respectfully," she said.
The entrepreneur and former reality TV star also made it clear that marriage is no longer on her radar, describing it as a "trap" that robs her of her freedom. "I love being on my own. I've never been this happy," she told her fans.
