The young content creator has gained national recognition for his moving videos that document his daily life while caring for his ailing father, who suffered a stroke.

Kaluma Boy's heartfelt storytelling has touched millions online, inspiring Kenyans from all walks of life to rally behind him and his family.The outpouring of love has gone beyond words, with many well-wishers offering material support to ease the family's burden.
 
Videos circulating on social media captured the extraordinary scenes in Othaya. In one clip, a supporter carrying a cake decorated with photos of Kaluma Boy and his father proudly declared, "Leo tunasema ni operation Othaya!"
In another, a convoy of brightly painted matatus honked their way to his home, symbolizing the collective spirit of the movement.The viral campaign has also attracted attention from celebrities across East Africa. Tanzanian artist Chief Godlove released a video expressing his eagerness to join the mission, urging the Kenyan community to coordinate his visit to Othaya.
 
Among those moved by the wave of solidarity was former Cabinet Secretary and presidential advisor Moses Kuria, who praised the initiative in a reflective post on X (formerly Twitter).He described the support as a symbol of generational change, remarking that young Kenyans were setting a new standard of empathy and unity that older generations should learn from.
 
Kaluma boy himself remained transparent about his struggles. In one emotional appeal, he revealed the challenges of providing home-based care for his father, who spent three months in a coma before stabilizing.The family has since relied on costly medicines, weekly catheter changes, and professional therapy sessions.
 
Despite the hardships, his videos—showing everything from assisting his father to harvesting tea leaves—have painted a picture of resilience and love that resonates deeply with viewers.What began as raw, personal storytelling has now grown into a nationwide movement, with Kenyans proving the power of social media in mobilizing real-world compassion.
