Renowned singer Wahu Kagwi, together with her grown daughter Tumi, is inviting the public to a special event on April 4th — a party with a purpose.

The event aims to combine entertainment with a charitable cause, supporting young, underprivileged mothers who are determined to return to school and rewrite their life stories.

"All proceeds will go towards paying school fees for young mothers who are determined to get back to school," Wahu shared. "It's an opportunity to have fun while making a real difference in someone's life."

The evening promises a line-up of live performances from some of Kenya's celebrated artists, including Bensoul, Charisma, and Xenia Brandy Maina, with XO also taking the stage

Music lovers will enjoy curated sets from top DJs Big Nyagzz, T-Bone Mizzy A3, and DJ Kimani, who will keep the energy alive throughout the night.

Tickets are available at KES 1,500 for early bird purchases, with prices set to increase to KES 2,000 as the event date approaches.

Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early to avoid missing out. Tickets can be purchased through the link in Tumi Mathenge's Instagram bio.

Wahu and Tumi hope the event will bring together people from all walks of life to celebrate music, community, and the power of giving back.

"Come through, vibe, and be part of something bigger," Tumi said, emphasizing the event's dual focus on fun and philanthropy.

This initiative reflects Wahu's ongoing commitment to empowering women and supporting education for those who need it most, making it not just a party, but a platform for positive social change.
