A-list actress Lupita Nyong'o and a male friend, Moses Sumney, left Kenyans perplexed on social media about their connection.
The two sung a love ballad while sat inside a car, indicating that they wanted to make out in it. Netizens were amused by the contents of the song, while others sought to know the relationship between the two.
Sumney is a gifted Ghanaian singer-songwriter, composer, and multidisciplinary artist. He is also an actor, and in a prior interview with Lampoon, he discussed how he combines acting with music.
Fans of Lupita have taken a special interest in the musician following a video he shared with her. In the brief video, the two shared their melodic voices, which encouraged their social media followers. In the popular video, the actress and Sumney sing about making out in a car.
I'm not trying to go to bed with you." I only want to make out with you in the car. Even though I am wanting to fall in love with you, all I want to do is make out in the car," they sung.
Sumney's previous posts indicate that the two have been working on a project together. He mentioned that he had a song called Twelfth Night, which featured Lupita.
He also acknowledged the composer.
Sumney commented, "Out today is our EP of songs from Twelfth Night, featuring Lupita on 'Malaika.'"
